Up close with Miss Yolanda

Hello people,

I know,I know, i have been quiet but u have no idea.I’m preparing for some exams but oh well I’m making all that up in no time.

Ok,if you know me,then you’ll agree i like giving explanation to every “petit” thing.I love fashion.I really do but thing is i’m lazy.I hope i get a stylist and all i have to do is pik up the dress and put it on.However,i can’t afford that now 😦 .Not withstanding,i love very trendy women.I just love to see people looking colourful and super sweet.You don’t have to sweat too much to get Ur desired look,i think all you need is “Technique”.

Sneaking through people’s photos on facebook (lol if u hav a problem with that use the privacy option)is what i do in ma spare time.This however led to me to a lovely young gurl’s photos.I love her sense of style.Good news is she shared some tips with us.And yes i must mention,She’s a ~~Saker Rat~~ SAKERRETTE.Now read on and enjoy…

ASTRID INSPIRE: Hi gurl,can you pls briefly introduce urself?

MISS YOLANDA: Well I’m Yolanda,i was born and grew up in the SW province in Cameroon but I traveled to the USA and I’ve been here for almost 5years now.No lie i miss home but I stay representing my country. I’m a second year student in Tarrant County College..I’m super friendly and have a great sense of humor but that doesn’t mean i don’t get mad,but when I do, I try to sort it out with the person involved. Last but not least I’m in a serious relationship with…..FASHION !Lol i mean i’m still growing,I’m not perfect with it but I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from people telling me they like my style.Some of my pics have gotten into a few fashion pages such as the fashion bomb & Art becomes you,well I’m humbled.I plan to do a lot with my fashion life but I will end here.. :) happy

ASTRID INSPIRE: Wow ,so Miss Yolanda,how would you define your style?

MISS YOLANDA: I really don’t have a particular style ehhh,lol but uhmmm let me think, I can go from tomboy look,to classy,to sophisticated,to simple or chic! It all depends on the occasion and the season. I’m also very fun of colors a.k.a (color blocking)! I hate matching stuff it makes the outfit look boring! /:) raised eyebrows So I will just tell you I don’t have a particular look I stick with,you can see me wearing anything coz I love to dare and try new things!

ASTRID INSPIRE: Your all time Fashion icon??

MISS YOLANDA: I am my own fashion icon! cocky much ??lol but seriously I look up to lots and lots of fashion pages on facebook for inspiration. Art becomes you was where I got my Camsa dress idea from and now it’s news! Lol big shoutout to Idylle Epangue for the creativity.But most at times I come up with my own fashion ideas though..

ASTRID INSPIRE: Your 5 top fashion designers?

MISS YOLANDA: I really don’t know alot of fashion designers coz I have one at home lol.My mum is my fashion designer! She is a seamstress and has been for over 30years now! she sews some of my dresses like the (black and yellow dress) I wore for Camsa and wouldn’t let me go out looking wack even when I’m going to drop her off to work!Sometimes i think she’s going too far with it*rolls eyes* lol but hey it only makes me want to do better. But fashion pages on Facebook like the Shoe Gawker,Skinny hipster & Art becomes you to name a few helps me too though.

ASTRID INSPIRE:(i wish i were ur mom u know,She gets all the credit). What body parts of yours do you admire most?

MISS YOLANDA: I admire every part of my body,it took me a while but i’m growing to love myself more and i expect everyone to do so too :) happy

ASTRID INSPIRE: (Phewwww,i love ma bum and my other body parts are noticing and getting jealous lol).So tell us Miss Yolanda what to u,are a gurl’s 3 top must-haves?

MISS YOLANDA:Body fragrance (A girl must look/smell clean at all times),have nice shoes and some good oil for her skin(not a fan of bleaching at all at all) lol

ASTRID INSPIRE:(I hate bleaching too,it’s such an unpleasant transformation) A word to girls who aren’t comfortable in their skin(Pay attention ohhh)

MISS YOLANDA: Sometimes the idea of people can consume you and make you feel worthless but if you know your worth,you wouldn’t let all that get to you. So i always say know your worth and don’t care what anyone thinks of you unless they think you’re pretty lol! but if someone calls you fat or ugly (2 dangerous words you should NEVER call a girl) ,tell them perfect girls aren’t real and real girls aren’t perfect ok?most of these “plum shape & super gorgeous” celebs we see on TV go through needles & plastic surgery to look perfect so be glad you ain’t plastic ;) winking
